Hey Everyone,
No easy way to say it. The Aesthetic has run its course and will now take an indefinite hiatus. Nothing is forever. Perhaps including this hiatus. But for now we’re going to focus on other areas of our life.
We’re not mad at each other. No bad feelings. We’re all still friends. I love every one of these guys like a brother. I’m honored to have shared a part of my life with them. Andre, Pierre, and Duane are some of the most talented and passionate musicians I’ve ever played with and I look forward to hearing what they do next.
However, most importantly, YOU. You are to be thanked for all of this. Please know that all of you were instrumental in this great dream we had. We wouldn’t be the people we are if you hadn’t helped shape this very dear part of our lives. We’re all eternally grateful for your love and support and we hope you follow us individually into our next chapter.
Starting Monday we will have a gigantic Indefinite Hiatus Sale on all merch and CDs. We’re working out the details on a final show in Chicago.
Plus one final surprise.
See ya soon!
Cheers,
Jesse Christenson
Due to overwhelming demand I AM is now available in 2 new versions! I AM for the left-handed and colorblind. Download today only at http://iTunes.com/
Our friends State & Madison just wrapped up their self-released debut full length album. It’s a skip-free gem I’ve had on repeat since Nick sent me the press. We’re super proud of them and honored to be a part of their release show April 6 at Beat Kitchen in Chicago, IL. It’s a great line up, also featuring punk rock locals The Frantic and heart-on-her-sleeve singer-songwriter Hawley Shoffner. This show WILL SELL OUT so don’t miss out. Tickets are available HERE.
See ya there!
This is Sam. He made my week.

Thank you Sam. And thank you Anna for sharing.
Hey guys,
We just wanted to thank you all so much for coming to our debut CD release show last night. It was incredible. We’ve worked really hard to make something honest and special for you and you met it with open arms. We’re honored and we hope you enjoy it.
Quick reminder! For those of you that picked up the deluxe edition of I AM, don’t forget to download the extra features from the link on the insert card. If you’re missing your card, email us a photo of your CD to extras@iamtheaesthetic.com and we’ll send you the link.
I’m going to back to sleep this cold off all day. Voice is gone. Left it on the stage for you last night. Feels like Ursula stole it and locked it in a shell. Worth it.
Cheers,
Jesse Christenson
Hey guys,
Welcome to the brand-new, shiny iamtheaesthetic.com. My friend Adan Altamira and I have worked really hard on it. This is the new home base for all things Ⓐ. Click around. See what you find.
I’m going to crash now as I’m battling a merciless cold and need to be in tip top shape for our CD release show tomorrow at Beat Kitchen.
Cheers,
Jesse Christenson
